No formal training or educational program is required.
There is no age or educational restriction. A pharmacy assistant must work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Note: Training and education completed out of state must be recognized by the board as equivalent to the training received by a pharmacy technician trained in Washington. A courtesy renewal notice will be mailed to registration location address of record.
