Did you know Edit. User reviews 2 Review. Top review. Not like the books and much worse than the sequel show. The books are fabulous, and I am glad, there was an attempt to turn it into a show. This installment, however, lacks everything that made the books great to read - first and foremost the coziness of the childhood.
There is a much better version and I am not talking about the movie, which had a complete different story, there is a new animated movie which might come closer, haven't seen this version yet, but a couple of years later a sequel TV show followed "The little vampire-new adventures" , for all lovers of the books and nice vampire stories: I do recommend this newer version with Jan Steilen etc.!
